Today, it's nothing but a bad dream, but, many years ago, before modern medicine had come up with more humane procedures for dealing with hemorrhoids, I suffered through a period of extreme discomfort in the sensitive posterior of my anatomy. Because I had vivid memories of my father howling in agony after undergoing a hemorrhoid operation decades earlier, I was concerned, to say the least, about following in his footsteps.

Someone asked me yesterday why I believe in capital punishment. I immediately gave them four good reasons: Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid, and Chris Dodd. But, in all fairness to these fine people who have devoted their lives to "public service" -- even more so than community organizers -- there are several hundred other reasons I could list if it were not for space limitations.

What can you say about something that thousands of people in the media have been writing and talking about nonstop, twenty-four hours a day: the financial collapse of the U.S. For me, the answer is both simple and novel: Tell the truth.
Most of what you've been hearing about the soon-to-be "bailout" is simply untrue. Of course, we expect lies from the Criminal Class in Washington, but what's more troubling is how virtually no one in the media seems to understand the real problem.

Once considered a taboo, body piercing is now a common form of personal expression. We can pierce more than just our ears.
However, any piercing carries a certain amount of risk, making it important to get your piercing done properly and to take care of it well.
A badly done body piercing could reject, and possibly carry the risk of serious infection or even nerve damage.

At the beginning of this vicious presidential race I complained that there wasn't a lot of difference in the two candidates, John McCain for the Republican Party and Barack Obama, a Democrat. Being a political conservative, I thought that John McCain had entirely too many leftist leanings and Barack Obama was much too liberal for me to even think seriously about giving him my vote.

As you know a massive government bailout was passed with the goal of saving the economy. The Oct. 4, 2008 front page headlines in the SJR "Bailout is coming, but will it work?" Good question. In my opinion the headline should have been "Bailout coming, was it necessary?"
The bailout represents much more than the $857 billion dollars of your tax money pledged to be spent to save the economy.

There are a couple of major benefits to buying a used car online. You do not have to spend hours going from one dealership to another. Even better, you will not have to deal with overly pushy salespeople attempting to sell you more than you can logically afford. You can always look through your local newspaper's online automotive classified website.
